The parade will proceed rain or shine. Cancellation will only occur in the event of extreme weather, such as a hurricane, that threatens the safety of participants and organizers. The Office of Emergency Management will monitor weather conditions and safety concerns, working closely with the New York City Police Department, Department of Transportation, and parade organizers.
